FAQs

Are there any additional move in costs?

Yes. There is a one-time Security/Cleaning deposit equivalent to one month rent. The Security/Cleaning deposit is refundable after you vacate as long as the unit you are vacating has been totally emptied, swept clean and no damages.

Do I have to come in to pay my rent?

No. You can also mail in a payment, call in a payment with a credit card, or pay online through the invoice that get’s emailed. For your convenience we do have an after-hours payment box for check payments. It is best to set up auto payments through the QuickBook invoice that gets sent.


Is there a contract/lease?

Yes. There is a contract/lease we generally do for 12 months, then month-to-month after that. Each time you pay your rent, you automatically extend your contract for 30 days.



When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of month when an invoice is created. However, you’ll have 30 days to pay it before it’s late.

What are your hours?

Storage hours are open 24/7.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please note we are short staffed and will return your messages as soon as administratively possible.



What if I vacate the unit prior to the end of my rental month?

A 30 day minimum notice is required and we do not prorate when moving out. We prorate rent when moving in.

If it snows, can I still access my unit?

Growing up and living here, we know how to deal with snow removal. We take snow removal serious here and do everything we can to not have any disruptions in accessing your unit.


Do you supply a lock for me?

No. It is your responsibility to supply your own lock. This way, you know that you are in total control of your unit and who has access to your unit.

How do I receive my refund?

We will refund your card on file or pay by check. If your last payment was by check then we have to wait for that check to clear before we can issue a refund.
